Hello! I’m Theresa and I’m really glad you’re here.
My name is Theresa and I spend my life in an old farmhouse by the river with my talented tattooist husband, Kevin, and our little daughter, Kathryn. We also have two grown sons and two grand children whom we love spending time with whenever we possibly can.
I don’t know about you, but life can sometimes be challenging, even in all of it’s beautiful moments. As a homeschooling mom, I understand the struggle to have time alone to think, pray, meditate, or even just to grab a shower, or get a full night’s sleep without getting kicked in the face! I also know what it’s like to still want to have an identity outside of marriage and motherhood. This blog is a place where I like to discuss things like that, but I try very hard to keep it positive, because life really is a beautiful experience, isn’t it? And like Abraham Lincoln said: “People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
I don’t have all the answers. I’m certainly not a teacher of these things. I’m just a woman, trying to navigate her way through this thing called life and trying not to faceplant too many times as I go.
I do hope to hear from you on my blog, so please feel free to comment, or give me a like so I know you’re there. I long to connect with other women so I know that I’m not alone in this struggle. There are so many challenges we face each day and the loneliness is real. The second-guessing is real. The mom guilt is real.
